  • Gentle Flow

Time to be kind and gentle with yourself
    Wednesdays 6pm / Sundays 4pm

Gentle Flow invites you to awaken to your breath, and to connect with your body and mind. This class is an opportunity to move slowly and gently with the breath, to strengthen, to stretch the body and to nurture and nourish the self.

    Yin /Yang
Finding balance in the play of opposites
    Thursdays 6:00pm / Fridays 9.00 am

Nurturing Yin practice works deeply into the connective tissues (fascia and joints) bringing balance to the organs in the body, providing an opportunity to be still, observe, nurture, soothe and calm ourselves.
Yang is the active dynamic practice that keeps the body’s functionality and mobilizes the energy body to refresh the body’s vibrancy and maintain health.
Yin and Yang are two opposing energies, working together to create perfect harmony, together they create a strong and flexible body with a calm mind.

  • Gentle Flow / Yin and Yoga Nidra

    Moving into Stillness...
    Mondays 6:00pm

Gentle Flow invites you to awaken to your breath, and to connect with your body and mind. Inviting an opportunity to move slowly and gently with the breath, to strengthen, to stretch the body and to nurture and nourish the self.
Yin penetrates deep into connective tissue expanding flexibility while invigorating the energy centres of the body (nadis) to release blockages and increase your energy flow.
The practice of Yin trains us in the habit of slowing down, paying attention and listening. Listening to our body, to our mind to be still and quiet and listen
Yin is also great for reducing stress in the body and mind.
Holding poses without distraction for several minutes teaches us to relax, we begin to release tension that is deeply engrained in our muscles.
Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep which is paradoxical as you remain awake during the practice.
Firstly the conscious mind is quietened, and then there is movement into a meditative state,
then even deeper states of meditation and harmony when the brain waves slow down and a euphoric state is experienced.
Yoga Nidra induces a state of complete relaxation and a change in brain waves that are the same as those when we are in deep sleep.
