  • Deb Winning

Deb feels honoured and privileged to share the gift of yoga.

She has come from a health and fitness background wanting to help people change their lives to lead longer healthy happier ones.

Yoga felt like a natural progression for Deb as it goes beyond the body. Yoga not only encompasses the physical aspect, it is a holistic form of mind and body awareness that can improve the quality of your life. This desire to connect deeply to her true self in her own life has led Deb to the style of Yoga she now teaches and continues to practice.

Deb teaches Vinyasa style classes, connecting the movement to breath. Classes are focused on the Asana physical practice, pranayama breath work, meditation and ancient yogic philosophy. Her classes include Vinyasa Flow and Vinyasa Slow classes, Beginners Courses especially designed for those new to yoga, Restorative Workshops, Yoga Retreats in Australia and Bali.

She aims to provide a safe, supportive, non-competitive and fun environment where students are encouraged to work at his and or her own ability. As each student builds strength and flexibility they in turn gain a deeper connection to their true self and therefore resulting in a more content, happy and peaceful life.

  • Jenny Warburton

Jenny initially qualified as a yoga teacher through Pine Rivers Yoga in 2011; gaining special qualifications in Yoga for Prenatal & Birth and Yoga for Postnatal and Infants. Jenny has since been teaching Prenatal/Restorative Iyengar/ Hatha yoga style classes for 9 years catering for women during all stages of pregnancy; requiring a peaceful, rejuvenating and supported restorative practice that will leave them feeling refreshed! ....making use of every yoga prop available!

Since 2011, Jenny has continued her yoga teacher training journey obtaining a Certificate of Teaching Discovery Level, Chair Yoga and Inversions with the inspirational Master Teacher Nicky Knoff of the Knoff Yoga Program.

Having a passion to bring the benefits of yoga to the younger members of the community, Jenny then went on to complete all levels of Kids Teacher Training including Foundation, Advanced and Yoga Therapy for Kids, with Loraine Rushton of Zenergy Yoga.

In 2014, Jenny completed her practicum for Yoga, Scoliosis and Back Care Training for Yoga Teachers and Students with Narelle Carter-Quinlan, of Yoga Body Torque, Brisbane.

Jenny is passionate about the holistic principles of yoga – where ultimately the body is linked to the movement, mind and breath to bring about a feeling of relaxation, balance and harmony. These principles were firmly and deeply imbedded with the completion of Level 2 Teacher Training studies in April 2015, to expand her Yoga Therapy skills with the very knowledgeable Flo Fenton of Intouch Yoga.

With an addiction to yoga and her love of knowledge, Jenny has also attended many yoga workshops conducted by well known; and highly skilled yoga teachers including the teachers from Biyome - Bio Medical Institute of Yoga and Meditation,  Yoga Psychology for Yoga Teachers - The Yoga Institute, Inspya Yoga, Knoff Yoga, Intouch Yoga and the Ashtanga series of practice.

Jenny is also passionate exponent of Yin Yoga!  Yin Yoga is an ancient style of Taoist Yoga that works on opening up the deeper energetic channels with an emphasis on the meridians and chi energy within your body; stimulating the connective tissues therapeutically to keep the body supple and healthy.

Her recent trainings with Sarah Powers in Thailand in 2018; and more recently in Sydney & Italy in 2019; along with the completion of all four levels of Yin training with Karin Sang & Markus Giess in New Zealand, bring together the teachings from the Insight Yoga Institute of Sarah & Ty Powers, as well as the Yin Yoga School of Paul Grilley.

Jenny has been teaching a variety of classes for 9 years to many students including Beginners, Yoga for Sport, Yoga for Minis, Mums n Bubs and Retirees; as well as the weekly classes of Yin Yoga, Prenatal / Restorative, Yoga Therapy Groups and Easy Multi Level classes that incorporates both yin and yang yoga.

Jenny’s yoga journey is to bring you to the yoga mat, to experience yoga! A yoga practice has no prerequisites; you do not have to be strong, skinny, flexible or any other stereotype attached to ‘yoga people’. All you need to do is show up, be open to the experience; and let the yoga practice do the rest.

  • Jillian Clyde

My Yoga journey began in 1995 whilst living in Melbourne. A good friend had suggested Yoga might give me some relief to my lower back pain, which I had experienced most of my adult life. As I had always been a sports orientated gym type of girl, Yoga was pretty mach an "unknown" to me. With little or no expectation I decided to attend a local Hatha Yoga Class and have been practicing ever since.
Yoga brings a wonderful sense of peace and happiness to my life. The practice of Yoga challenges my body and brings calmness to my mind.
In 2013 I completed a Teacher Training in Vinyasa, Pranayama and Meditation and in 2014 I completed a Restorative Yoga Training Module. I then began teaching in studios and private homes in and around Brisbane, to share the gift of Yoga with others and to dive deeper into my own practice.
In 2016 I returned home to Perth and quickly settled into my practice. Thanks to Deb Winning I starting teaching again at Yoga Centred. My classes are a mix of Gentle Flow and Yin Yoga, allowing my students time and space to connect to their own practice in a safe and calm environment. In 2017 I decided to increase my knowledge and love of Yoga and commenced further teacher Training with 8 Limbs in Leederville.
When I'm not teaching Yoga I work as a Dental Clinic Assistant at the University of Western Australia. In my personal time I enjoy pottering in my garden, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends. I also love to travel and explore new places.
I hope to be able to share the practice of Yoga with you.
    Namaste
    Jill
