Honour the sweetness of a new day, everyday!
    SATURDAY 1 JANUARY 2022 / 9:00am - 10:30am / Jenny Warburton

You are invited to join Jenny, Saturday 1 January 2022 for a New Years Day Yin & Yang Yoga practice.Feeling into your body, your heart and your mind; use this time to plant new intentions, new beginnings, that will ultimately grow your health and deep wellbeing in 2022.Simply come to the mat with a ‘beginner’s mind” (in Buddhism, Shoshin).
Leave behind preconceptions and expectations so that we may honour the sweetness of a new day and transition into the New Year mindfully with an attitude of openness. Starting with the therapeutic practice of Yin Yoga we will take the opportunity to look back and reflect on the joyful times, the difficult times and the average times; and practice gratitude for it all.
Gratitude connects us to the present moment. Gratitude uplifts our spirits and feeds our hearts.
The habit of gratitude can greatly help with feelings of inner peace, increase mindfulness, and attract more good into our lives. How we act on our mat directly correlates to how we act off of it.
If we’re able to invite motivation, compassion with a quality of gratitude, kindness and care into our yoga practice, then we will be able to embrace those same characteristics in our daily lives, too.
The more energetic Yang part of our yoga practice will fire up your inner strength.
You’ll then be able to take that inner strength you cultivate in your yoga practice and use it to embrace the ebb and flow, the ups and downs of life to follow your passions and see your intentions through! The poses invite us to push ourselves beyond our perceived limitations; to stay persistent, patient and gracious in the face of challenge; and to hold non-attachment to the results of our efforts. And remember, just as it is with your intentions, you don’t need to perfect the poses in only one day.
Believe in yourself, keep practicing and stay committed, and you’ll be achieving your goals both on and off the mat in no time.

Honour the sweetness of a new day, everyday!

San ~ means a connection to our higher truth / Kalpa ~ means Vow

    Saturday 8 January 2022 / 2:00pm – 4:00pm / Deb Winning
Workshop Inclusions: Reflection/ Journaling, Pranayama, Yoga Practice and Yoga Nidra

The word for Intention, according to yogic philosophy, is Sankalpa. This word can be translated as a vow that has been birthed in the very core of your heart -- the place of your deepest truth.

By setting an Intention / Sankalpa  you are building a bridge between what you work through on your mat, and what you continue to focus your mind on when you step off of your mat. This intention is a powerfully energetic tool to take your practice into the world. Wayne Dyer said, “Our intention creates our reality.”

    Reflection / Journaling
Sit and just be, reflect on the year that was and journal about how you would like to feel in the year ahead - Setting your Intention / Word for 2022.

    Pranayama / Yoga
Starting with the attention on the breath bringing us to the present moment, cultivating a feeling of being grounded and at ease. The Yoga Practice will include gentle movements, yin and restorative asana - Including back bending poses that will dramatically increase the flow of pranic energy throughout the body, which will help to cultivate a sense of abundance and well-being.

    Yoga Nidra
Coming into stillness for a deep nourishing rest with a guided relaxation –Yoga Nidra, planting the seed of Intention into your awareness.Firstly the conscious mind is quietened, and then there is movement into a meditative state, then even deeper states of meditation and harmony when the brain waves slow down and a euphoric state is experienced.
Deb’s calming voice will penetrate into your very soul assisting in connecting you inward to your Intention, also allowing you to feel deeply relaxed, peaceful and calm.

By attending the Setting an Intention for 2022 Workshop you are actively choosing to empower and infuse the New Year ahead with positive change.
    Hope you join Deb!

Yoga is like music. The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind,
and the harmony of the soul creates the symphony of life.”
